We accept some of the Covered California plans. Please check with your insurance if Dr Rivera is a participating provider.

Starting November 2024: We do not participate with Aetna insurance, or Meritain insurance. You may get reimbursed by your insurance for office expenses of OUT OF NETWORK providers. Please call your insurance to confirm.

If you do not see your insurance company listed, then give our office a call. We may have been recently added to the plan’s participating provider list.

BILLING
As shown above we participate in many insurance plans. However, if we do not participate with your plan, DO NOT BE SCARED AWAY. Please ask our staff at the office regarding payment plans. We will work hard with you to make sure you get seen by one of our physicians.
If we do participate with your plan, please be aware that your insurance company may require a co-payment at the time of your appointment. This should be paid at the time of service. We do accept VISA and Mastercard. Should your insurance require a referral (HMO insurance), it is the patient’s responsibility to obtain that referral prior to the office visit.
